"MCS-CF" is a revolutionary multiple cartridge spacer with six adjustable heights.

The material used is carbon FRP, which has been proven in our "HS-CF" phono headshell.

The thickness is 0.5mm. Set of three spacers, one each of 0.5mm, 1.0mm and 1.5mm thickness. Total height can be adjusted in 6 steps from a minimum of 0.5 mm to a maximum of 3.0 mm in 0.5 mm increments, either individually or by overlapping them.

The surface area with the cartridge is 19mm x 23mm, a large area to spare.

The range of cartridge mounting options includes the DECCA and SHURE M97 series with a small ground surface, the average-sized the DENON DL103 series, Audio Technica AT33 series, and ortofon MC20/30 series with a large ground surface, and the ortofon Kontrapunkt/Jazz series with a circular ground surface.

Height Adjustable in 6 Steps from 0.5 to 3.0mm in 0.5mm increments

In order to trace a record disc accurately, it is necessary to set the tone arm parallel to the disc surface while the needle tip contacts the disc surface at the correct needle pressure (needle pressure adjustment and zero balance adjustment).

However, the height from the top surface to the needle stylus tip differs for each cartridge. In the past, it was necessary to adjust the height of the arm each time the cartridge was replaced, which was a very nerve-wracking process, especially when the adjustment was less than 1 mm.

In addition, depending on the record player, the tone arm would not be lowered to the desired position, preventing the use of short cartridges in an ideal setting.


"MCS-CF" allows you to adjust the height of the cartridge in 6 steps from 0.5 to 3.0 mm (0.5 to 3.0 mm) in 0.5 mm increments, so the cartridge needle tip fits the board just right. This eliminates the need to adjust the height of the tone arm for each cartridge. By inserting the required number of "MCS-CF" between your cartridge and headshell in advance, you can immediately use your cartridge at its best setting.


After setting the highest cartridge to the needle tip and adjusting the height of the tone arm, insert the "MCS-CF" according to the difference in height of each cartridge.

Made of Light Weight Carbon FRP


"MCS-CF" is made of lightweight carbon FRP, so it can be used with light-needle pressure cartridges and tone arms for light-weight cartridges without any difficulty, without disrupting the weight balance as conventional metal spacers do.

"MCS-CF" processes unwanted vibrations of cartridges at high speed through the high-speed vibration processing of carbon FRP. Incidental sounds caused by unwanted vibrations are eliminated, dramatically improving the S/N ratio.
