When using headphones or earphones, the supplied cable is not long enough to reach the headphone amplifier, and an extension cable for headphones is sometimes required. However, there are no high quality extension cables available, and the use of extension cables has traditionally been accompanied by a deterioration in sound quality in exchange for the use of extension cables, or by restrictions on the listening position. Even when making your own extension cables, you were forced to compromise on sound quality due to the lack of quality female plugs on the market.

In response, Oyaide Electric has developed a new 3.5 stereo mini female plug, "J-3.5SR".

J-3.5SR is a 3.5mm stereo mini jack terminal that thoroughly pursues sound quality. It consists of a machined copper alloy housing, a copper alloy electrode with a silver/rhodium double-layer plating, and a molded glass filler mixed resin with excellent heat resistance and rigidity. The extremely thinly machined copper alloy cover is plated with hard beryllium chrome to reduce weight and damp vibration, while providing a high-grade finish.

"J-3.5SR" is a must-have item for self-produced extension cables. The completed extension cable "HPC-35J/62J" with "J-3.5SR" is also available at the same time.
