The first generation "BLACK MAMBA" was named after the fastest snake on earth. The first generation "BLACK MAMBA-α" was designed with the concept of "a power cable for music production that matches the modern age. With its flat bandwidth balance, accurate phase, high and high resolution, the first generation "BLACK MAMBA-α" received tremendous support from recording studios, and became a key player in raising awareness of the importance of power supplies in music production field.

In 2013, the supply of PCOCC-A conductors was suddenly discontinued, and the first generation "BLACK MAMBA" series was unintentionally discontinued.

However, in 2014, the "BLACK MAMBA V2" was born with the Oyaide's own precision conductor "102 SSC".

The cable structure of the "BLACK MAMBA V2" is inherited from the original model in order to carry on the concept of the first model, which was thoroughly examined. With the precision conductor "102 SSC", it has been thoroughly polished and given a new taste, and we hope you will enjoy this confident work from Oyaide.

Features

"102 SSC" - Oyaide Electric Precision Conductor

• To avoid impurities as much as possible, only virgin copper that does not contain any recycled copper is used in accordance with JIS C1011.
• Peeling process is applied to remove 100% of impurities attached to the surface.
• In order to facilitate the flow of electrical signals through the surface layer of the conductor, the strand is made finer using a natural diamond die to improve the surface smoothness of the strand.
• The stranded wire is processed with a processing accuracy of ±1μm, far exceeding the standard error tolerance of ±8μm.
• Two annealing processes are used to eliminate mechanical stress distortions in the strands.
• Thorough product control of manufacturing control values, maintenance, shipping days, etc. Achieved the highest conductivity of 102.3% IACS.

3 Core 3.5sq. Conductors for High Speed and High Power Transmission

It provides high power transmission of 600V maximum 20 Amps withstand voltage and aggressive response. Short-pitch stranded wire twisted at 1.15 times the normal tension eliminates random gaps in the conductor and suppresses sound quality degradation caused by wire-to-wire distortion.

We also paid close attention to the adhesion rate between the insulator and conductor. The insulator and conductor are evenly adhered to each other, eliminating random gaps and degradation of sound quality caused by interline distortion.

Reduces Signal Loss

Polymer polyolefin with excellent electrical properties is used for the insulation coating of the conductor.

Compared to ordinary PVC insulation, it has an extremely low dielectric constant of 1/4, which reduces signal loss and produces a sound reproduction with less muddiness.

In addition, flex PE yarn designed specifically for the BLACK MAMBA V2 is used for internal interposition.

Copper Foil Shield to Shut Out Noise

The conductor is 3.5sq (≠12AWG) size handling up to 20 Amps for clear and powerful sound.

The insulation is made of high-molecular-weight polyolefin material, and the internal interconnection is made of flex PE with low dielectric constant, which is geometrically arranged to damp unwanted vibrations.

Copper foil shield with 100% shielding rate and drain wire provide excellent noise protection.

AC Power Plug and IEC Connector - Non-plated P/C-004 Special Edition

The plug and IEC connector are made of non-plated beryllium copper with buffed and mirror-finished exclusively for the BLACKMAMBA-Σ V2.

The outer cover is made of polycarbonate, a resin with outstanding mechanical strength. The aspirin white color represents the image of a neutral sound through wide band freq. range.

In addition, the plug body is colored red in the motif of the Japanese flag.
It symbolizes our pride as "Made in Japan".
