The original "ACROSS900" was an interconnect cable featuring dual coaxial and C.I.S. structure, and was very popular for its excellent performance and cost performance. However, production was discontinued in 2013 when the supply of PCOCC-A conductors was discontinued. Two years have passed since then, and in 2015, the "first ACROSS900" was re-released as the "ACROSS900" using the precision conductor "102SSC" and the patented "3E stranding" technology. is upgraded to the "ACROSS900 V2".
The ACROSS900 V2 is a new product that is a product of Oyaide's confidence, and has been further refined with the latest technology while maintaining the proven dual coaxial and "C.I.S. Structure".
The 3E stranded structure is a concentric stranding arrangement of stranded wires in a lump-sum twisted wire conductor, and by arranging three different strand diameters, the stranding arrangement is made denser. By arranging three different strand diameters, the strand arrangement is made denser, enabling a finer conductor structure and improving conductor characteristics.
The strands of these three different conductor diameters are arranged geometrically to minimize the gaps between strands and improve strand density.
Furthermore, the outer diameter of the strands has been downsized to maintain a stable and highly accurate outer diameter, and the cross section after twisting is a perfect circle, an unprecedented conductor structure in the world. This ensures uniform adhesion between the insulator and conductor, eliminating random thickness of the insulation material and making it uniform.
Oyaide's original cross-shaped insulation structure (C.I.S. Structure) is used as a damper to lower the capacitance and improve the high-frequency characteristics while attenuating vibrations with its excellent stabilizing effect. The basic architecture adopts a coaxial layout to maximize the C.I.S. Structure, which supports the center conductor at a point rather than a surface to minimize mutual interference between the center conductor and the outside.
The internal air damper layout was conceived with a completely different idea in mind. The conventional approach to vibration is to damp internally generated vibration by compounding, but the ACROSS 900 V2 does not absorb and damp vibration. The "ACROSS 900 V2" approach is based on the idea of releasing vibration, rather than absorbing and damping it.
The C.I.S. structure not only has an excellent stabilizing effect, but also contributes greatly to the improvement of electrical characteristics. The C.I.S. structure is made of polyolefin, which has an extremely low dielectric constant (1/4 that of PVC).
These unique structures and materials give the ACROSS 900 V2 an unrivaled agile response and stress-free spatial expression.
The exterior sheath uses Oyaide Elec traditional audio-specific halogen-free PE (Polyethylene) sheath, and the Beluga color (caviar black) was selected for its classy and elegant finish. The Beluga color (caviar black) was chosen for its elegant and refined finish, and matches any audio system.
The outer sheath is clearly marked with "ACROSS750 V2" and "102SSC" to indicate the V2 model.
