Basic

We designed M1/F1 series as our flagship model, making no compromise. The result is a sound that is powerful, dynamic and highly sophisticated. M1/F1 represents a major step forward in cutting edge technology having inherited and improved upon the advanced technologies of our P/C series.

Based on the technology of M1/F1, we have achieved to create P-004/C-004 as its cost-performance by integrating the features of M1/F1 and P/C series.

As well as other P/C series audio plugs, the key parts of P-004/C-004 is composed of the selection of materials, plating technology, and usability.

Inheriting the most core factor of M1/F1, the contacts of P-004/C-004 are made of beryllium copper which insures mechanical integrity and high conductivity. The plating is also same as M1/F1 that is a combination of platinum and palladium which was selected after repeated listening tests.

The main body is made of 30% glass filled PBT which has excellent machine-ability and provides superior electrical isolation. And the outer cover of P/C series is made of PC (Polycarbonate) for its rigidity and hardness. In addition, its "Black-Diamond" color of P-004/C-004 outer cover represents its emotional and exciting sound.

Blade Features

■ Contacts
The blades of the P/C-004 are made of beryllium copper, which has the same high conductivity and sufficient mechanical properties as those of the M1/F1.

This is an appropriate choice of material for the flagship model. Beryllium copper is an extremely aged alloy that is heat-treated to give it extremely high mechanical properties. This C-004 blade has a high level of contact area and rigidity with a thickness of 1.0 mm and a width of 6.0 mm, and a strong hold with a weighted weight of over 8 kg. This reduces vibration at the joints and achieves lossless transmission..

■ Plating
The blades of the P/C-004 are plated with the same combination of platinum and palladium as the M1/F1. The first layer of platinum is 0.5μm. and the second layer of palladium is 0.3μ.

Once punched as a part, the material is mechanically barrel polished and then buffed one by one by human hands. There is no other example of this two-stage polishing process being applied to audio equipment. Mirror finish and direct plating. The simplicity of the product is the reason why it must be made to the highest standards. Oyaide's philosophy and craftsmanship are condensed here as well.


Contact point capable of withstanding a pulling load of 30 kg
The tensile strength of the blade holder and cable clamp is more than 30 kg, and even a slight pull will not cause the cable to come loose. This is also the result of careful consideration of safety.

No-compromise parts selection, not only just blades parts

■ Non-magnetic stainless steel screws
Oyaide's commitment to its products starts with a single screw. The screws used in the P/C series are custom-made stainless steel screws made for the P/C series, which are non-magnetic and, of course, have a narrower screw pitch to increase the contact area between the body and the cover.

As a result, the body and cover are not easily distorted, and the screws do not loosen easily.

Have you ever experienced over-torquing and having the threads crushed? All the screws used in our plugs are made of stainless steel, so there is no possibility of the screw threads being crushed or the heads being removed even if excessive torque is applied. In addition, stainless steel itself is non-magnetic, so there is no shivering at the connector, providing a high S/N sound.



■ GF+PBT Body
30% glass filled PBT has excellent machine-ability and provides superior electrical isolation. The highly rigid body of the P-004/C-004 effectively attenuates high-speed vibrations. All screws, which were originally designed for P/C series, are made of highly rigid stainless steel which is non-magnetic substance. Moreover, the cable cannot be separated from the plug by a force less than 30kg, a significant safety feature

■ High rigidity polycarbonate Outer Cover
The outer cover of P/C series is made of PC (Polycarbonate) for its rigidity and hardness. It helps to attenuate tiny vibrations in quick response and reduce distortions by its superior mechanical strength.

■ Handling maximum cable outer diameter
Have you ever used butyl or noise-isolating tape for vibration control when making your own power cables, only to end up with thicker cables?

This product can accommodate cables with a maximum outer diameter of 17 mm for both IEC plugs and power plugs, so that even such customers can use this product with peace of mind. Now you don't have to worry even if your cables have become thicker by using tapes or vibration-damping treatments.



*When the clamper is removed, cables up to 17mm O/D can be installed.


■ Handling maximum Wire Size
You want to use and make as thick a cable as possible! For such customers, we can accommodate cable installation sizes up to 10sq (5.5sq x 2 cables) (however, the allowable current is 125V 15A).

Product Management System with Serial Numbered Hologram Seals

All Oyaide Electric's P/C series AC plugs and IEC connector are all labeled with a "hologram sticker" with a serial number for management purposes. The product is shipped in its original can case, which protects it from shocks during transportation.

It has been confirmed that counterfeit products that look very similar to the "P/C series AC plug and IEC connector are currently circulating.

All products are shipped in an "original can case," with a "hologram sticker" with serial number attached to the side of the main body, and the name sticker attached to the side of the main body has been changed to an "aluminum plate sticker" to distinguish it from counterfeit products.
