"TUNAMI" has broken new ground in the world of power cables with its high power transmission using an ultra-thick 5.5sq. conductor (≈10AWG) and strict 3-layer sealing.
With its aggressive sound and high performance, TUNAMI was a milestone in the history of power cables.
In 2013, with the end of supply of PCOCC-A conductors, the first generation "TUNAMI" was unintentionally discontinued.
However, in 2014, "TUNAMI V2" inherited the life of the original "TUNAMI" with the Oyaide's own precision conductor "102 SSC".
In order to inherit the concept of the first generation model, the structure of "TUNAMI V2" is the same as the first generation model. It has been thoroughly refined with the 102SSC precision conductor, giving it a new look and feel.
From the deep stillness of TUNAMI, you can even sense the atmosphere of pre-performance of sound source. Since the day of our establishment in 1952, we at Oyaide Electric had opportunities to apply a number of state of the art technologies specific to our specialized cable store. Our products reflecting such advantages offer unmatched performance.
"TUNAMI GPXe V2" embodies an ideal fusion of state of the art technology and craftsmanship. It equipped with P/C-046e special edition plug.
It provides high power transmission of 600V maximum 30 amps withstand voltage and aggressive response.
Short-pitch stranded wire twisted at 1.15 times the normal tension eliminates random gaps in the conductor and suppresses sound quality degradation caused by wire-to-wire distortion.
We also paid close attention to the adhesion rate between the insulator and conductor. The insulator and conductor are evenly adhered to each other, eliminating random gaps and degradation of sound quality caused by interline distortion.
Polymeric polyolefin with excellent electrical characteristics is used for the insulation coating of the conductor.
Compared to ordinary PVC insulation, it has an extremely low dielectric constant of 1/4, which reduces signal loss and produces a less muddy reproduction sound.
The first layer is an electromagnetic wave absorber, the second layer is a carbon layer, and the third layer is a copper foil.
The first layer converts the electromagnetic waves caused by the inevitable disturbance of magnetic flux into heat energy by mixing the electromagnetic wave absorber into the compound. When electricity flows through the cable, weak vibrations are generated, and the vibrations cause corona discharge in materials charged with static electricity.
Therefore, the second layer is a semiconductor layer (carbon layer) to promote the release of static electricity without affecting the conductor.
The third layer is a copper tape shield to protect the conductor from external noise. The third layer is a copper tape shield to protect the conductor from external noise, and the copper foil shield is bonded to the drain wire in close proximity to the earth ground to improve the signal-to-noise ratio.
Not only external noise, but also internally generated noise and spark noise caused by vibration are shut out at a high level.
Experience the ultimate in noise protection, the power of the triple layer shield.
The AC power plug and IEC connector, P/C-046Re, is specifically arranged for TUNAMI GPXe V2.
The thickness of the plating is optimally-adjusted for TUNAMI GPXe V2. In addition to alteration of plating thickness, its Italian-Red outer cover is the perfect expression of passionate sound of TUNAMI GPXe V2.
