The pursuit of high-performance is arisen from our passion and spirit of challenge. These are true origin of our product making and reflected in the design of its molded plug which was newly attached to both terminals. The material of the blades and contacts are made of deoxidized phosphor bronze which was chosen for its strong holding power. The plating of PA-23 ZX is a combination of silver and palladium. The double-layered molded part, made of Polypropylene resin and Pb free PVC, attenuates unnecessary vibration and improves electrical property.

The core element of PA-23 ZX is its cable design. The PA-23 power cable satisfies the requirements of high performance and safety. Its excellent traction control and flexibility are achieved by integrating four different types of materials. The double-layered noise protection system is composed of copper foil and solid-state carbon. Its PCOCC-A multi-stranded structure enables the infilling of random spaces inside the cable and prevents deformation among wires.

PA-23 ZX is produced by maximizing the experience and technology acquired by development of P/C series. Its excellent balance between practicality and performance proves our basic concept right.

PCOCC copper is a material that includes very few impurities and insures very low levels of signal disturbance. Because of its low incidence of grain boundaries the signal passes without impediment or distortion. Heating and cooling the PCOCC wire under controlled circumstances yields a densely re-crystallized, highly pure structure called μ-conductor. The resulting product with mirror finishing and annealing applied is called PCOCC-A copper. This highly advanced product is made possible by the combined application of high technology and traditional Japanese craftsmanship.

■ Housing

The effort for vibration suppression that we have approached in these years is applied to the connectors of PA-23 ZX. We selected two different types of resin for internal and external vibration damping properties. Especially, poly-carbonate resin filled in the first layer has excellent mechanical characteristic and electrical isolation.

■ Plating

To complete PA-23 ZX, the manufacturing process is started from foundation coating. The material which was punched out as a part is polished by hand piece by piece after machined barrel-polishing.
The plating of the PA-23 ZX is a combination of 1.5μ silver and 0.3μ palladium which was selected as a result of repeated listening tests.
